Jean Paton’s studio specialises in an unrivalled range of services that are suited on all types of hair. After twenty years of providing a service in weaves, Jean can honestly say she has seen and done the lot and still learning. Her weaves are done with a flat base without lumps and bumps. For clients with delicate hair, short hair and bald patches, special protective mesh and hair nets are used to protect the hair and scalp. For the clients who do not like the feel of needle and cotton method, bonding with protective base is an option.

For fine delicate hair, where one might require volume and length, insertion can be attached on a micro fine base. Strips of colour can also be inserted to create length and high or low lights. This method is suitable for both Afro, Asian and European hair. This method is suttle and the appearance is natural to the touch. The attachments can be removed and replaced at a later date.

Chemical Treatments:

A patch test will be necessary if this is your first experience or if you haven't use chemical for some years. All clients scalp are protected with the appropriate base to avoid any form of discomfort. Please note some example of chemicals used in the studio. Lady Velvet (conditioner, relaxer). Designer Touch. Affirm for dry hair, colour treated & sensitive formula - Affirm control formula for medium & resistant hair - Botanical for clients with delicate hair & sensitive scalps - Gentle treatment for the client who want a optimum results after the removal of extensions. Below are examples of chemical treatments used in the studio.
